How to create and maintain a catalog
An updated catalog makes it easier for your customers to interact with your business. It also helps showcase your new products and services.
Add a product or service
To add a product or service to your catalog:
- Open the WhatsApp Business app.
- Click More
| at the top of your chatlist > Catalog. - Click Add new item.
- Click Add Images to upload images from your files. You can upload up to 10 images.
- Provide a product or service name. You can also provide optional details such as price, description, link and item code for the uploaded product.
- Click ADD TO CATALOG to add the product to your catalog.
Control what products or services customers can see
Note: This feature may not be available to you yet.
Hide catalog items
- Open the WhatsApp Business app.
- Click More
| at the top of your chatlist > Catalog. - Click the product or service you want to hide > Edit.
- Select Hide item.
- Click Save.
Alternatively, hover your mouse over the item on the Catalog screen. Then, click More
Hidden items will still appear in your catalog manager with
Unhide catalog items
- Open the WhatsApp Business app.
- Click More
| at the top of your chatlist > Catalog. - Click the product or service you want to unhide > Edit.
- Unselect Hide item.
- Click Save.
Alternatively, hover your mouse over the item on the Catalog screen. Then, click More
Delete a product or service
To delete a product or service from your catalog:
- Open the WhatsApp Business app.
- Click More
| at the top of your chatlist > Catalog. - Select the product or service you wish to delete.
- Scroll to the bottom of the product detail section.
- Click on Delete Item.
- Click on OK.
Note : Every image uploaded to catalog is subject to a review. The review helps confirm that the image, product or service meets the WhatsApp Commerce Policy.
If a product or service in your catalog is rejected, a red exclamation icon will be displayed next to the image. If you feel this isn’t correct and you’d would like to request another review:
- Select the rejected product or service to view Details.
- Click request another review.
- Click LEARN MORE to review our Commerce Policy.
- Enter the reason for the request in the text field.
- Click Continue.
