How to scan WhatsApp Business QR code from screenshot

The WhatsApp Business QR code is a scannable image that makes it easy for you to connect with businesses on WhatsApp.

You can scan a business's QR code directly from a device or from an image or screenshot.

Scan with the WhatsApp camera

  1. Open WhatsApp > tap Camera.
  2. Select the image with the WhatsApp QR code.
    • Note: If your screenshot is on another device, move the camera over the QR code to scan it. You can also take a picture of the QR code using the WhatsApp camera.
  3. Tap Add to contacts.
  4. Tap Save.

Scan from WhatsApp Settings

  1. Open WhatsApp > tap Settings.
  2. Tap the QR Code displayed next to your name.
  3. Tap Scan.
  4. Select an image with a WhatsApp Business QR code or tap Photos to select an image from your device.
    • Note: If your screenshot is on another device, move the camera over the QR code to scan it. You can also take a picture of the QR code using the WhatsApp camera.
  5. Tap Add to Contacts.
  6. Tap Save.
