If you previously shared your WhatsApp QR code but no longer want anyone to find you by scanning it, you can reset the QR code. If you reset your QR code, your previous code will no longer work. You’ll need to share the new QR code with your customers again if you choose to reset it.

Business Tip: You might reset your QR code for any number of reasons. If you previously shared your code on social media but have started to receive spam, you can reset your code to prevent spammers from reaching you that way.

Reset your QR code

1. Open the WhatsApp Business app.
2. Tap More options > Business Tools > Short link.
3. Tap View QR Code.
4. Tap More options > Reset link > RESET.
