Deleting chats

Deleting a chat allows you to delete a chat from your Chats tab.

To delete an individual chat

1. In the Chats tab, tap and hold the individual chat you wish to delete.
2. Tap delete > delete.

To delete a group chat

To delete a group chat, you first need to exit the group, and then you can delete the chat.

1. In the Chats tab, tap and hold the group chat you wish to delete.
2. Tap exit group > exit.
3. Tap and hold the group chat again and tap delete > delete.

To delete all chats at once

1. In the Chats tab, tap More > settings > chats and calls.
2. Tap delete all > delete all messages.

Clearing chats

Clearing a chat allows you to clear all the messages inside a chat. The chat will still be listed in your Chats tab.

To clear an individual or a group chat

1. In the Chats tab, open the chat you wish to clear.
2. Tap More > contact info for individual chat or group info for a group chat.
3. Tap More > clear chat > delete all messages.

To clear all chats at once

1. In the Chats tab, tap More > settings > chats and calls.
2. Tap clear all > clear all messages. This will clear all messages inside your chats. All chats will still be listed in your Chats tab.
