How to send GIFs

You can send GIFs to individual or group chats on WhatsApp.

1. Open WhatsApp.
2. Open an individual or group chat.
3. Tap Stickers > GIF.
4. Next, you can tap:
   • Search search for a specific GIF.
   • Recents to see your recently used GIFs.
   • Favorites to see your favorite or starred GIFs.
5. Select and tap the GIF you want to send.
6. Tap Send.

Add a GIF to Favorites

You can add GIFs to your Favorites for quick access later.

• To favorite a GIF within a chat, tap and hold the GIF in the individual or group chat > tap Star.
• To favorite a GIF within the GIF menu, tap and hold the GIF > tap Add to Favorites.

Remove a GIF from Favorites

• Tap Favorites > tap and hold the GIF > tap Remove From Favorites.
