The payments feature on WhatsApp Business lets you quickly send, receive and request payments. You can use payments feature on WhatsApp Business app in two ways:
Get paid for sales: Sell on WhatsApp Business and accept unlimited payments from customers. There is a processing fee of 3.99% (subject to change) per transaction. To enable this payments feature on the WhatsApp Business App, choose get paid for a sale during the Facebook Pay set up.
Make purchase or transfer: Send and receive money from your friends and family using a debit or debit-enabled combo card and pay for products and services (from other businesses) using debit, credit or combo cards. No fee is charged when you use Facebook Pay to pay for purchases or transfer money to friends and family. To enable this functionality on the WhatsApp Business app, choose "make a purchase or transfer" during the Facebook Pay set up. When you send or receive with your friends and family, there is a sending limit of 1,000 BRL per transaction, and a receiving limit of 20 transactions per day and 5,000 BRL per month. There are no limits on making purchases with the merchants.
If you have set up Facebook Pay using one of these options, you can always add the other by visiting payments settings.
All payments are processed by our payment provider, Cielo, in Brazil.
