I get a message that my video is too long and it won't send
The maximum file size allowed for all media (photos, videos or voice messages) to be sent or forwarded through WhatsApp is 16 MB on all platforms.
On most phones, this will equal from about 90 seconds to 3 minutes of video. The maximum video duration will vary based on the quality of your phone's video camera. To send a longer video, you can record a lower resolution video outside of WhatsApp and use the attach media feature in a chat to send it to your contacts.
For Status, you can share a video with a maximum duration of 30 seconds. At this time, it's not possible to share longer videos to Status.
If you're trying to send a video that you've previously received, you can use the forward media feature in a chat to forward the video via WhatsApp.
Note: For documents, the maximum file size allowed is 100 MB.
