How to use cart on WhatsApp Business

As a WhatsApp Business user, the cart feature will be automatically available to you. In order to use this feature, ensure that you and your customers both are on the latest version of WhatsApp.

The feature is designed to make order processing easier and more efficient.

Turn carts on and off

To turn the carts feature on or off, open the WhatsApp Business app. Then, complete the following steps:

Android
  1. Tap More options > Business tools > Catalog.
  2. Tap More options > Settings.
  3. Turn on Add to cart to make carts visible to your customers. Turn off Add to cart to disable the feature.
iPhone
  1. Tap Settings > Business tools > Catalog.
  2. Tap More > Settings.
  3. Turn on Add to cart to make carts visible to your customers. Turn off Add to cart to disable the feature.
Web/Desktop
  1. Click More| at the top of your chatlist > Catalog.
  2. Then, click More| > Settings.
  3. In the Add to cart section, click On to make carts visible to your customers. Click Off to disable the feature.

Note:

  • Customers won't be able to check out the products added to their cart themselves.
  • When you change your carts setting, it may take up to 24 hours for the change to be reflected. If you turned off the carts feature, you may still receive carts from customers in that 24-hour period.
