About syncing WhatsApp Business with Facebook Pages
When using the WhatsApp Business app, you can link your Facebook Page with your WhatsApp Business account. You can also choose to sync the business information from your Facebook Page with your WhatsApp Business account.
To link the WhatsApp business account, users must have:
- A Facebook page for their business
- An account on the WhatsApp Business app
- The latest versions of both mobile apps
Once you’ve linked a Facebook Page to your WhatsApp Business account, you can also sync business information from the Facebook Page to your WhatsApp Business account. This means your WhatsApp Business account will get updated with information from the Facebook Page.
Turning on the sync will auto-populate sections of your business profile on the WhatsApp Business app with the following information from the linked Facebook Page:
- Business hours
- Address
- Description
- Category
- Website URL
