Add your email to your WhatsApp account

When you add your email to WhatsApp during registration, it will give you an extra layer of security and ensure you can recover your account, even without a connection for SMS or phone call.
You can add your email at any time by going to your WhatsApp Settings > Account > Email Address. You’ll get a verification code sent to your email so that we can verify it’s you.
