How to edit your profile

You can edit your profile photo, name, and about information in WhatsApp Settings.
Edit your profile photo
  1. Click your profile photo icon.
    • Alternatively, click
      above your chats list > Settings > your profile photo.
  2. If you:
    • Don’t have a profile photo: Click ADD PROFILE PHOTO. You can Take photo or Upload photo.
    • Have a profile photo: Hover over your photo, then click CHANGE PROFILE PHOTO. You can View photo, Take photo, Upload photo, or Remove photo.
Edit your profile name
  1. Click your profile photo icon.
    • Alternatively, click
      above your chats list > Settings > your profile photo.
  2. To update your profile name, click

    • You can also add emoji by clicking

  3. Click

Edit your about information
  1. Click your profile photo.
    • Alternatively, click
      above your chats list > Settings > your profile photo.
