This feature is rolling out gradually and may not be available to you yet. In the meantime, we recommend keeping WhatsApp updated on your device so you can get the feature as soon as it's available.
Accounts Center is a place where you can centrally manage account settings and connected experiences across your Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Meta accounts. To add your WhatsApp account to Accounts Center and enable connected experiences, you’ll need to add it with an existing Facebook or Instagram account.
Adding your WhatsApp account to Accounts Center is completely optional. You can choose to add or remove accounts from an Accounts Center at any time. Learn about adding or removing WhatsApp in Accounts Center in this article.
Even if you choose to add your WhatsApp account to Accounts Center, your personal messages and calls are protected with end-to-end encryption, meaning no one outside of the chat, not even WhatsApp or Meta, can read, listen to, or share them. We don’t share your WhatsApp contact lists with any other Meta Company.
By adding your WhatsApp account to Accounts Center, you can:
  • Use experiences that work across our apps, like the ability to easily share your Status created on WhatsApp to Stories on Facebook or Instagram.
  • Manage some account settings centrally, like your birthday and the ability to add or remove accounts.
You can find Accounts Center in the app settings on Facebook, Messenger, Instagram or from your WhatsApp account. You can view which accounts are in the same Accounts Center by going to your WhatsApp Settings > Accounts Center. From there, you can remove or add accounts. Adding WhatsApp to Accounts Center means WhatsApp and Meta will share information to provide these experiences, which we explain in this article.
