How to share your VR experience in WhatsApp calls on Meta Quest

Note: WhatsApp isn’t available on Meta Horizon operating system (OS) versions older than v62. If your software version is older than v62, please update it.
You can use WhatsApp on Meta Quest to share gameplay and your VR experience.

Share your VR experience during an active WhatsApp call

  1. During an active WhatsApp call on Meta Quest, press
    > Start now.
  2. To see who’s Playing with you, press the WhatsApp icon.
To stop sharing your VR experience, press Stop sharing.

Cast your VR experience to a WhatsApp call

  1. During an active VR session, press the Meta Quest icon.
  2. Press WhatsApp > Continue.
  3. Press the text field to open your keyboard.
  4. Enter the WhatsApp contact or group name of the participants you’d like to add.
  5. Select the participants you’d like to add to the call, then press Start call. Note: You can add up to 31 people to your WhatsApp on Meta Quest experience.
To stop sharing your Meta Quest VR experience, press Stop sharing.
