How to unlink a device

To disconnect linked devices such as WhatsApp Web, WhatsApp Desktop, companion phones, or tablets, you can log out from WhatsApp on your primary phone, or from WhatsApp on the linked device.

Log out from your primary phone

  1. Open WhatsApp on your primary phone.
    • Android: Tap
      more options
      > Linked devices.
    • iPhone: Go to WhatsApp Settings > tap Linked Devices.
  2. Tap a device.
  3. Tap Log out.

Log out from your linked device


Go to WhatsApp Settings > Log Out.
