How to create and maintain a catalog

To provide your customers easy access to your latest offerings, keep your catalog updated.
Add a product or service
To add a product or service to your catalog:
  1. At the top of your chatlist, click More
    |
    > Catalog.
  2. Click Add new item.
  3. Click Add Images to upload up to 10 images from your files.
  4. Enter a product or service name, along with any optional details like:
    • Price
    • Description
    • Website link
    • Product or service code
  5. Click ADD TO CATALOG to add the product to your catalog.
Note: Every image uploaded to the catalog is subject to a review, which confirms that the image, product, or service meets the WhatsApp Commerce Policy.
Once a product or service is approved, it’s automatically added to the catalog. However, if it's rejected, a red exclamation icon will be displayed next to the image.
If you think your item was wrongly rejected, you can appeal the decision:
  1. Click the rejected item.
  2. Click Request another review.
  3. Enter your reason for the request.
  4. Click Continue.
    5. If you reviewed the WhatsApp Commerce Policy and your appeal was rejected, send us a reply explaining your request for a third review.
Control which products or services customers can see
Hide catalog items
  1. Open the WhatsApp Business app.
  2. At the top of your chatlist, click More
    |
    > Catalog.
  3. Click a product or service > Edit.
  4. Select Hide item.
  5. Click Save.
    6. Alternatively, hover your mouse over the item on the Catalog screen. Then, click More
    |
    > Hide item.
    Note: Hidden items still appear in your catalog manager with
    over the item image. On the product detail page, a note appears, indicating that you hid this item.
Unhide catalog items
  1. At the top of your chatlist, click More
    |
    > Catalog.
  2. Click a product or service > Edit.
  3. Unselect Hide item.
  4. Click Save.
    5. Alternatively, hover your mouse over the item on the Catalog screen. Then, click More
    |
    > Show item.
Delete a product or service
To delete a product or service from your catalog:
  1. At the top of your chatlist, click More
    |
    > Catalog.
  2. Select a product or service.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the product detail section.
  4. Click Delete Item.
  5. Click OK.
