Can’t send longer videos

If you’re unable to send long videos, try these troubleshooting steps:
Check your connection and file size
Users who have a slower internet connection might have difficulty sending large media files and HD media. The maximum file size for videos sent or forwarded through WhatsApp is 64MB on all platforms.
For users with a faster internet connection, the default video size limit is 64MB and 480p resolution (approximately 6 minutes) on iPhone, Android, and Web. For users with a slower internet connection, the default video size limit is 32MB and 360p resolution (approximately 6 minutes) on iPhone, Android, and Web.
Lower the video quality
The maximum video duration varies based on the quality of your phone's video camera. To send a longer video, you can record a lower resolution video outside of WhatsApp and use the attach media feature to send it to your contacts.
Shorten the video or upload as a Document
You have the option to trim the length of the video before sending it. However, if you’d like to send longer or larger media, you can also choose Document and select a photo or video. The maximum allowed document size is 2 GB.
Forward the video instead
To send a video you've previously received, use the forward media feature in a chat to forward the video. Learn how here.
Note: For Status, you can share a video with a maximum duration of 30 seconds.
