About admin permissions for subscribing to Meta Verified for businesses on WhatsApp

If you are prompted to log in to a Facebook or Instagram account when trying to subscribe to Meta Verified for businesses on WhatsApp, it’s likely that your WhatsApp Business account is linked to a Meta business portfolio controlled by a different account on Facebook or Instagram that has Full control admin permissions. The account subscribing to Meta Verified must have admin permissions within the business portfolio.
Accounts that do not have Full control admin permissions will see the following error upon trying to log in to Facebook or Instagram to complete the subscription:
“Your Facebook/Instagram account {name} doesn’t have admin permission for this business. Try using a different account.”
This means that another admin associated with your business account has admin permissions. You’ll need to log in to that account to purchase the subscription. If your account is logged into the Facebook or Instagram app on your device, you will be able to sign in with one click. If you don’t have the app or aren’t logged in to Facebook or Instagram on your device, you’ll be prompted to login on the Facebook or Instagram website.
If your account doesn’t have permissions to purchase the subscription, tap Use a different Facebook account or Use a different Instagram account when prompted to log in to Facebook or Instagram to switch to an account with the correct permissions.
