How to report someone’s status update

If you believe the status update that someone posted on WhatsApp is harmful or violates our policies, you can report it to us.

Report a status update

While the status update is playing:
  1. Tap
    more
    > Report > Report.
  2. If you'd also like to block the contact, tap the green checkbox for Block contact.
