About Archive Status update

Note: This feature may not be available to you yet.
Status updates on the WhatsApp Business app are archived automatically after 24 hours. Updates will be saved on your device up to 30 days and can be used to create ads. If this feature is available to you, you'll be notified in the Updates tab. If you would prefer not to archive status updates after they've expired, tap Archive settings in the notification and turn off Save updates to archive. You can also go to the Updates tab >

> Status archive settings and turn off Save updates to archive.
Note: If you delete a photo or video from your status before it expires, that status update won't be saved to your archive.

Create an ad using an archive status update

You can use an archive status update to create an ad. To create an ad from a saved status update, tap
more options
> Advertise > Your status. Select up to 10 images or a single video from your archived updates > tap
