How to edit your business profile

Your business profile allows you to add information about your company, including your business name, address, category, description, email, and website. People can easily see this information when they look at your profile.
Business Tip: A complete and accurate business profile not only keeps your customers informed. It can also reduce the number of messages you receive about things like your business's hours.
To view your business profile, open WhatsApp Web. Then, click Menu
> Profile.
Edit your profile photo
  1. Click your profile photo.
  2. Select one of the following options:
    • View photo to view your current profile picture.
    • Take photo to take a new photo with your computer camera.
    • Upload photo to upload an existing photo from your files.
    • Remove photo to remove your current profile photo.
Note: Your profile photo is public by default. Learn how to change your privacy settings in this article.
Edit your cover photo
  1. Click Edit
    on your cover photo.
  2. Select one of the following options:
    • Take photo to take a new photo with your computer camera.
    • Upload photo to upload an existing photo from your files.
    • Remove photo to remove your current cover photo.
Note: Your cover photo is public by default.
Edit your business description
  1. Click Edit
    on the Business Description field.
  2. Make your updates.
  3. Click
    .
Edit your business category
  1. Click Edit
    on the Category field.
  2. Select up to three relevant categories for your business.
  3. Click SAVE.
Edit your business address
  1. Click Edit
    on the Address field.
  2. Enter your business address.
  3. Click
    .
Edit your business hours
  1. Click Edit
    on the Business Hours field.
  2. Click the schedule template that you’d like to use to list your hours:
    • SELECTED HOURS: Use the checkboxes to select the specific days that you’re open. You can also indicate specific sets of working hours for each day.
    • ALWAYS OPEN: Use the checkboxes to select the specific days that you’re open.
    • BY APPOINTMENT: Use the checkboxes to select which days of the week your business is open for appointments.
  3. Click SAVE.
Edit your email and website
  1. Click Edit
    on the field you'd like to update.
  2. Update your information.
  3. Click
    .
Edit your catalog
  1. Click VIEW OR EDIT CATALOG to update your catalog or create a new one.
  2. Add or edit items in your catalog as needed. Learn more about how to create and maintain a catalog in this article.
Edit your About information
  1. Click Edit
    on the About field.
  2. Update your information.
  3. Click
    .
Note: Your business name, map location, phone number, and linked accounts can only be edited using the WhatsApp Business app on a mobile device.
