How to edit your business profile

Your business profile allows you to add information about your company, including your business name, address, category, description, email, and website. People can easily see this information when they look at your profile.
Business Tip: A complete and accurate business profile not only keeps your customers informed. It can also reduce the number of messages you receive about things like your business's hours.
To view your business profile, open the WhatsApp Business app. Then, tap More options
> Business tools > Business Profile.
Edit your profile photo
  1. Tap your profile photo, then tap Edit
    .
    • Alternatively, tap Edit
      on your cover photo, then tap Add or edit profile photo.
  2. Tap Camera to take a new photo, or tap Gallery to choose an existing photo. You can also tap Delete
    > REMOVE to remove your current profile picture.
  3. Once you've selected a photo or taken a new one, crop or rotate the photo as needed.
  4. Tap DONE.
Note: Your profile photo is public by default. Learn how to change your privacy settings in this article.
Edit your cover photo
  1. Tap Edit
    on your cover photo.
  2. Tap Add or edit cover photo.
  3. Tap Camera to take a new photo, or tap Gallery to choose an existing photo. You can also tap Delete
    > REMOVE to remove your current cover photo.
  4. Once you've selected a photo or taken a new one, crop or rotate the photo as needed.
  5. Tap DONE.
Note: Your cover photo is public by default.
Edit your business name and description
  1. Tap Edit
    on the field you'd like to update.
  2. Make your updates.
  3. Tap OK or SAVE.
Edit your business category
  1. Tap Edit
    on the category field.
  2. Select up to three relevant categories for your business.
Edit your business address
  1. Tap Edit
    on the address field.
  2. Tap the Business address field, then enter your business address.
  3. You can also update your map location by tapping SET LOCATION ON MAP or UPDATE LOCATION ON MAP. Update your business address on the map, then tap DONE.
    Note: This only changes the location of your business on the map. The address you’ve entered in the address field will stay the same.
  4. Tap SAVE.
Edit your business hours
  1. Tap Edit
    on the business hours field.
  2. Tap Schedule.
  3. Select one of the following schedule templates:
    • Open for selected hours: Use the toggle to select the specific days that you’re open. You can also indicate specific sets of working hours for each day.
    • Always open: Use the toggle to select which days of the week your business is open.
    • By appointment only: Use the toggle to select which days of the week your business is open for appointments.
  4. Tap SAVE.
You can also tap More options
> Clear to reset your business hours.
Edit your email and website
  1. Tap Edit
    on the field you'd like to update.
  2. Update your information.
  3. Tap SAVE.
Edit your linked social media accounts
If you have no linked accounts:
  1. Tap Add Facebook or Instagram.
  2. Tap Facebook or Instagram > CONTINUE.
  3. Log in to your account to add it to your business profile.
If you already have linked accounts:
  1. Tap Edit
    next to your Facebook page name or Instagram handle to manage your linked account.
  2. You can hide a linked account from your profile or unlink it from your WhatsApp account.
Edit your catalog
  1. Tap MANAGE to update your catalog or create a new one.
  2. Add or edit items in your catalog as needed. Learn more about how to create and maintain a catalog in this article.
Edit your About information
  1. Tap Edit
    on the About field.
  2. You can create a custom About message or select one of the presets in the Select About section.
Edit your phone number
Tap Edit
on the phone number field > NEXT to begin the process to update your phone number.
