How to invite members into a community

You can invite people to join a community by sharing a link with them. Only community admins can invite people to join a community.
  1. Open the community.
  2. Click
    more options
    > Community info > Invite.
  3. Click Send link via WhatsApp, or click Copy link to copy the link for pasting in other messaging apps.
  4. If you click Send link via WhatsApp, you can select the individuals and groups you’d like to invite to join the community, then tap
    next
    . Edit the invite message if you wish, then click
    send
    .
Alternatively, you can:
  1. Open the community.
  2. Click
    more options
    > Community info > Add members.
  3. Select the people you’d like to invite to join the community, then click the members you want to add to the community and then click Add member.
Note: Anyone with WhatsApp can use this link to join the community, so only share with those you trust. It’s possible for someone to forward the link to others who could join the community without approval from the admin.
If you think the link has been shared with people beyond those you intended to invite, you can revoke the link at any time:
  1. Open the community.
  2. Click
    more options
    > Community info > Invite.
  3. Click Reset link > Reset link.
    4. Note: If you choose to do this, you’ll need to re-invite individuals and groups you want to join the community, as the link you sent them won’t work anymore.
