How to manage your ad or ad account on the WhatsApp Business App

Edit your ad

You can edit ads while they’re running. For example, to extend your budget and duration.
To edit an ad that’s running:
  1. Tap Tools > Manage ads.
  2. Tap your ad.
  3. Tap
    Draw (pencil)
    next to Budget and duration to edit budget and duration.
  4. Tap
    Draw (pencil)
    next to Audience to edit your audience.
  5. Make your edits and tap Save.

Manage your ad account

To change the email address associated with your ad account:
  1. Tap Tools > Manage ads.
  2. Tap
    More Options (three vertical dots)
    > Ad account settings >
    Draw (pencil)
    .
  3. Enter your new email address > tap Save.
  4. You'll receive a six-digit code at this email address. Enter this code.

Repeated ads

You can't schedule an ad to run, or promote the same ad automatically at the moment.
But, after an ad has stopped running, you can run the same ad again. To do this:
  1. Tap Tools > Manage ads.
  2. Tap an ad you’ve run before that has ended.
  3. Tap Recreate ad.

Delete your ad

To delete an ad that's in review, not showing, or rejected:
  1. Tap Tools > Manage ads.
  2. Tap the ad you want to delete >
    More Options (three vertical dots)
    > Delete ad.
Note:
  • Ads that are running can’t be deleted.
  • Deleting an ad doesn't remove the costs you've already incurred. You'll still be charged for any costs incurred before deletion.

Pause and resume your ad

If you want to stop running an approved ad, you can pause it. To pause an ad that’s running:
  1. Tap Tools > Manage ads.
  2. Tap the ad you want to pause >
    More Options (three vertical dots)
    > Pause ad.
To resume an ad:
  1. Tap Tools > Manage ads.
  2. Tap the ad you want to resume >
    More Options (three vertical dots)
    > Resume ad.

See your ad's performance

To see how your ads are performing, tap Tools > Manage ads.
Under Performance, you can see:
  • How many conversations your ads started.
  • How many ads you ran over the last 30 days.
  • How much you spent on those ads.
  • Your ads’ reach.
You can tap an individual ad in Ads overview to see performance insights for that particular ad.
