Why was my ad or ad account rejected?
Note: This feature is currently available on Android devices in select regions.
Ads and ad accounts must follow the Meta advertising policies.
Rejected ad
To see if your ad has been rejected, tap > Advertise > Manage. You'll see Rejected next to any ads that have been rejected, or you'll see a banner that says:
"Your ad was rejected".
Tap the rejected ad itself or View ad on the banner to see the ad's details. From here, you can Learn more about why your ad was rejected. If you believe your ad was wrongly rejected, tap Request review and follow the prompts to submit a request.
After your request is submitted, you can check the status of the review by tapping > Advertise > Manage. Tap the ad in review and look at the Status of ad field.
Rejected ad account
When your ad account is rejected, you can't run any ads you've created using the account. If your ad account has been rejected, you'll see a banner in the WhatsApp Business app that says:
"You can no longer run ads".
Tap View more on the banner to go to your Ad account settings. From here, you can Learn more about why your ad account was rejected. If you believe your ad account was wrongly rejected, tap Request review and follow the prompts to submit a request.
After your request is submitted, you'll see a banner that says:
"We've received your review request".
Tap View more on the banner to go to your Ad account settings.
Note:
- Reviews of ads and ad accounts typically take 24 hours.
- You can't create new ads while your ad account is in review.
