How your search history is handled in the Discover businesses feature

The Discover businesses feature helps you find and contact businesses on WhatsApp.
You can find businesses safely, quickly, and conveniently by opening WhatsApp, tapping Businesses, and using the Recent search options. The Recent searches are listed underneath the search box. As you start typing, the Recent search options will be updated with business listings according to the characters or text entered into the search box.
Your search history will be stored only on your phone. The search history is only available for 90 days since it was last used, before it is deleted permanently. Only your most recent 50 searches will be stored and all of these will be accessible under recent searches.

Clearing recent searches

  1. To delete your recent searches, tap Clear all.
  2. Tap Clear all on the confirmation pop-up again.
  3. Your recent search history will be deleted.
