How to pay for ads and marketing messages

Pay for ads and marketing messages

Add funds

Prepaid funds can be used to pay for your ads and marketing messages in advance. We'll deduct from prepaid funds before charging other payment methods.
To add funds to your account, tap Add funds > select an amount to add > select or add a payment method > tap Next > Confirm.

Add, remove, or edit a payment method

To add a payment method, tap Add payment method > select a payment method > tap Next > enter your payment details > tap Save > Done. If you have multiple payment methods, you can set a primary method and several backup methods.
To edit a payment method, tap the payment method > Edit > enter your new payment details > tap Save.
To delete a payment method, tap the payment method > Remove > Remove > Done or Add payment method.

Verify a payment method

For the safety of your account, you might be asked to verify your payment method. To do so, tap the payment method > Verify card > Verify > enter the four-character code > tap Submit > Done. Your payment method is now ready to use.

Pre-authorization

Sometimes, we ask to place a temporary hold on your payment method before you can run ads or marketing messages. We might also temporarily place a verification hold on your payment method in order to validate it. These charges will be removed automatically.

Manage your payments

Set an account spending limit

An account spending limit helps you control your ad and marketing messages costs. If you set an account spending limit, your ads and marketing messages will pause once you reach that limit. Your ads and marketing messages won't run again until you increase, reset, or remove the limit.
To set a limit, tap Account spending limit > Set limit > enter a new spending limit > tap Save > Done. The next time you check your spending limit, you'll see how much you've spent so far.
To edit your limit, tap Account spending limit > Edit > Change > enter a new spending limit > tap Save > Done. You can also remove the limit by tapping Account spending limit > Edit > Remove.

Set a payment threshold

A payment threshold affects how often you're billed. You'll be charged each time you reach your payment threshold.
To set or update a payment threshold, tap Payment threshold > enter an amount > tap Save > Done.

View your payment activity and edit your business information

To see your previous bills, tap Payment activity. To edit your business information, tap Business info > update your business information > tap Save.

Refunds

To request an ads refund, tap
more options
> Advertise >
more options
> Ad account settings > Ad payments. Scroll down and tap Get payment support, then follow the prompts.
To request a marketing messages refund, tap
more options
> Marketing messages >
more options
> Ad account settings > Payments. Scroll down and tap Get payment support, then follow the prompts.
