If the timestamp on messages you’ve received is wrong, please check the time and time zone configuration on your phone and adjust it.
This can also help to fix incorrect last seen times.
Setting date and time
We recommend setting your date and time to Automatic date and time or Automatic timezone. This means your mobile provider will set your phone to the correct time.
- Go to device Settings.
- Tap General management > Date and time.
- Turn on Automatic date and time and Automatic time zone.
If you still see the wrong time, there might be an issue with your network. Please contact your mobile provider.
Configure your timezone
You can also modify your date and time settings and correct your time zone manually.
