How to delete media

There's no way to delete all media from a chat in one step. The easiest way to delete multiple pieces of media is to do the following:
  1. Open a chat.
  2. Tap the name of the chat to enter the chat info screen.
  3. Tap Media, Links, and Docs.
  4. Select the media you wish to delete.
    • On Android, tap and hold any media you wish to delete. Tap
      Delete (trash can)
      > Delete for me.
    • On iPhone and Mac, tap Select. Then, tap any media to add it to your selection. Tap
      Delete (trash can)
      > Delete for me.
    • On Web, check the box on the media and then tap
      Delete (trash can)
      > Delete for me.
    • On Windows, click Media or Files or Links. Check the box on the media. Tap
      Delete (trash can)
      > Delete for me.
Note: Delete documents and links in the same way by navigating to their respective tabs on the Media, Links, and Docs screen.
