How to reset your QR code for WhatsApp Business

You can deactivate a previously shared WhatsApp QR code by resetting it. If you reset your QR code, your previous code will no longer work when someone scans it. You’ll need to share the new QR code with your customers again if you choose to reset it.
Business Tip: You might reset your QR code for any number of reasons. Resetting a QR code that you shared on social media can prevent spammers from using it to reach you.

Reset your QR code

  1. Open the WhatsApp Business app.
  2. Tap
    more options
    > Business Tools > Short link.
  3. Tap View QR Code.
  4. Tap
    more options
    > Reset link > Reset.
