How to clear chats

Clearing a chat allows you to clear all messages inside a chat. The chat will still be listed in your chats list.
Clear an individual or group chat
  1. In the Chats tab, open the individual or group chat you want to clear.
  2. Tap
    > More > Clear chat.
  3. Check or uncheck Also delete media received in chats from the device gallery.
  4. Tap CLEAR.
Clear all chats at once
  1. In the Chats tab, tap
    > Settings > Chats > Chat history.
  2. Tap Clear all chats.
  3. Check or uncheck Also delete media received in chats from the device gallery and Delete starred messages.
  4. Tap CLEAR MESSAGES.
