How to clear chats

Clearing a chat allows you to clear all messages inside a chat. The chat will still be listed in your chats tab.
Clear an individual or group chat
  1. In the Chats tab, swipe left on the individual or group chat you want to clear.
  2. Tap More > Clear Chat.
  3. Tap Delete all messages.
Clear all chats at once
  1. Go to WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Clear All Chats.
  2. Enter your phone number > tap Clear All Chats.
