How to listen to voice channel updates

To listen to voice updates from a channel you follow:
  1. From the Channels tab, click the channel that has a voice update you want to listen to.
  2. Click
    play
    on the voice update.
  3. Listen to the audio:
    • Through your computer’s speakers: Play the audio through your computer’s speakers.
    • Through your headphones: Voice updates will play through your headphones when they’re connected.
Note:
  • Click 1x while listening to a voice update to increase the playback speed to 1.5x or 2x.
  • To listen to a voice update from a specific point in the recording, click and hold the dot located on the waveform, then drag it to the desired timestamp.
  • Voice updates will continue to play even if you go to another screen within WhatsApp. If you open another chat, you’ll need to return to the channel where the voice update is playing in order to pause or stop it.
    • Note: If you go to the Status tab, the voice update will stop playing.
  • When you play a voice update and leave the channel, a mini player will appear at the top of your screen. You can pause, play, and close the voice update, or go back to the original channel.
