How to manage channel info and settings

Where Channels is available, we're rolling out new features gradually. Some features, like being able to create a channel, might not be available to you yet.
Customize your channel info page to stand out and get people interested in your content. Update your channel name, description and icon from your channel info page. You can also customize which emojis people can use to react to your channel updates.
Edit your channel name
You can choose to change your channel name at any time. Channel name is limited to 100 characters.
- To get to your channel info page:
- Open Channels by clicking the Channels icon.
- Click your channel.
- Click your channel name.
- Click next to the current channel name.
- Update your channel name, and click the check mark.
Edit or add a channel description
Write a few words to help potential followers understand what your channel is about.
- To get to your channel info page:
- Open Channels by clicking the Channels icon.
- Click your channel.
- Click your channel name.
- Click next to the current channel description, or if there isn't one yet click Add channel description.
- Edit or add a channel description, and click the check mark.
Edit or add a channel icon
Add an image to help your channel stand out.
- To get to your channel info page:
- Open Channels by clicking the Channels icon.
- Click your channel.
- Click your channel name.
- Hover over the current icon or placeholder image.
- Click CHANGE CHANNEL ICON, and choose from these options to add a new image:
- View photo
- Take photo
- Upload photo
- Emoji & Sticker
- Remove photo
Change your reaction settings
- To get to your channel info page:
- Open Channels by clicking the Channels icon.
- Click your channel.
- Click your channel name.
- Click Channel settings and select your preference:
- Any emoji
- Default only
