How to make a WhatsApp group call on Meta Quest

Note: WhatsApp isn’t available on Meta Horizon operating system (OS) versions older than v62. If your software version is older than v62, please update it.

Make a WhatsApp group voice call on Meta Quest

  1. Open WhatsApp on Meta Quest.
  2. From the Chats screen, you can search for or select the WhatsApp group you’d like to voice call. Press the text field to open your keyboard. Enter your WhatsApp group’s name.
    • You can also select and press the group chat from your chatlist.
  3. Press the call icon, then press Start call.

Make a WhatsApp group video call on Meta Quest

  1. Open WhatsApp on Meta Quest.
  2. From the Chats screen, you can search for or select the WhatsApp group you’d like to video call. Press the text field to open your keyboard. Enter your WhatsApp group’s name.
    • You can also select and press the WhatsApp group chat from your chatlist.
  3. Press the call icon, then press Start call.

Add participants to a WhatsApp call on Meta Quest

  1. During an active WhatsApp call on Meta Quest, press
    to open the Add People screen.
  2. Press the text field to open your keyboard.
  3. Enter the name or phone number of the participants you’d like to add.
  4. Select the participants you’d like to add to the WhatsApp call, then press Add to call.
