How to send media

Send photos, videos, documents, or contacts
  1. Open an individual or group chat.
  2. Click Attach
    or
    , then click:
    • Photos & Videos to select photos or videos from your computer. You can send up to 30 photos or videos at once and add a caption to each photo or video. Alternatively, you can drag and drop a photo or video directly into the text field. There’s a 16 MB size limit for each video you send.
    • Camera to take a photo with your computer's camera.
    • Document to select documents from your computer. Alternatively, you can drag and drop a document directly into the text field. The maximum allowed document size is 2 GB.
    • Contact to send the information of contacts saved in your phone's address book over WhatsApp.
  3. Click Send
    or
    .
Send a voice message
  1. Open an individual or group chat.
  2. Click the microphone
    or
    and start speaking into your computer's microphone.
  3. Once finished, click Confirm
    to send the voice message.
Note: While recording a voice message, you can click Cancel
to cancel it.
Save a photo or video to your computer
  1. Click the photo or video you want to save.
  2. Click Download
    or
    . If prompted, click Save.
