How to star or unstar a message

The starred messages feature allows you to bookmark specific messages so you can quickly refer back to them later.
Star a message
  1. Open WhatsApp.
  2. In an individual or group chat, select the message you want to star.
  3. Press Options > Star.
Unstar a message
  1. Open WhatsApp.
  2. In an individual or group chat, select the message you want to unstar.
  3. Press Options > Unstar.
Note: Removing the star will not delete the message.
View the list of messages you've starred
  1. Open WhatsApp.
  2. Press Settings > Starred Messages.
