How to export your chat history

To export your chat history from a chat:
  1. Open the chat.
  2. Tap More options > More > Export chat.
  3. Tap Without media or Include media.
An email will be created with your chat history attached as a .zip file.
Note:
  • If you choose Include media, the most recent media sent will be added as attachments to be sent from your sharesheet.
  • When exporting with media or without media, you can send up to 100,000 latest messages.
  • Your chat history can’t be re-imported because it’s a text file and not a backup file.
