About linking WhatsApp Business with Facebook and Instagram

You can link your WhatsApp Business account with your business’ Facebook Page or Instagram Business profile.
Once linked, you have the option to display a contact button on your Facebook Page or Instagram Business profile that allows customers to message you directly on WhatsApp. You can choose to show or hide this contact option on your profiles through your Whatsapp Business profile.
    By connecting a Facebook Page or Instagram Business profile, you'll be able to:
  • Help potential customers learn more about your business
  • Use business identity (Facebook Page/Instagram Business profile) to create ads that appear on both Facebook and Instagram, directly from the Whatsapp Business app. Improve advertiser settings and conveniently pay for your ad with the payment method you use on Facebook or Instagram.
Notes:
  • The last few posts on your Facebook Page or Instagram Business profile will also display on your WhatsApp Business profile. This feature may not be available in your region yet.
  • To link a Facebook or Instagram account to a WhatsApp Business account with an active Meta Verified subscription, you'll need to cancel that subscription and resubscribe after you've added the accounts to your WhatsApp Business profile information. There are several ways to control your linked accounts:

Android:

  • If you don’t want links to and posts from your Facebook Page or Instagram Business profile to be visible on your WhatsApp Business profile, tap
    shopping
    > Facebook & Instagram. Select your Facebook Page or Instagram Business profile and turn off Show on profile.
  • If you don’t want posts from your Facebook Page or Instagram Business profile to be visible in the Business directory search results, you will need to unlink your accounts. Note: The WhatsApp Business directory is currently only available in Brazil and may not be available in your area yet.
  • If you want to unlink your Facebook page or Instagram Business profile from your WhatsApp Business account, tap
    shopping
    > Facebook & Instagram. Select your Facebook Page or Instagram Business profile. At the top right corner, tap Remove WhatsApp.
