What happens to my subscription if I stop using the WhatsApp Business App or delete my phone number?

If you delete the app

If you delete the WhatsApp Business app from your phone, your WhatsApp Business Premium subscription will still continue until you cancel it.

If you switch to WhatsApp Messenger

If you switch to WhatsApp Messenger, your linked devices will be disconnected and your web page will be removed from the web. Your subscription will still continue until you cancel it.

If you change your phone number

If your phone number changes, your subscription will continue as long as you’re still using the same Google account to pay.

Refunds

You can request a refund for your subscription through the Google Play Store. If you receive a refund, you will no longer be able to use WhatsApp Business Premium.

What happens to my account after I cancel?

  • WhatsApp web page: Your WhatsApp page will still work until 15 days after your billing cycle. 30 days after your billing cycle ends, your custom address link will become available for other businesses to claim.
  • Multi-agent: Only your four most recently active devices will remain linked.
