How to delete a status update

Status updates are visible for 24 hours unlesss you delete them.
Delete a status update
  1. Open WhatsApp > STATUS.
  2. Tap More
    next to the status update you want to delete.
  3. Tap and hold the status update and tap Delete
    > DELETE.
Note: If a contact is experiencing connection issues, the status update might still be visible to them.
