About using one WhatsApp account on multiple phones, or with multiple phone numbers

Your WhatsApp account can only be verified with one registered phone number. If you have a dual SIM phone, you can have two different WhatsApp accounts on a single Android device. You still must choose one number to verify with WhatsApp. There is no option to have a verified WhatsApp account with two different phone numbers.
Note: The option to create more than one account on WhatsApp is currently only supported on Android phones with dual SIM. This feature isn’t available on the iPhone.
You can switch your WhatsApp account to a new phone without receiving an SMS code.
If your phone number is eligible, you can verify it using your old device. WhatsApp will send a push notification to the old device that will provide the 6-digit code to enter on your new device.
If you don’t choose this option, you’ll be prompted to verify your phone number via SMS.
If you attempt to frequently switch your WhatsApp account between different devices, at a certain point, you may be blocked from re-verifying your account. Please don't repeatedly switch between different devices and numbers.
