You can listen to your voice message before you send it.

Preview a voice message

  1. Open an individual or group chat.
  2. Tap and hold
    microphone
    , then slide up to lock hands-free recording.
  3. Start speaking.
  4. Once finished, tap
    pause
    .
  5. Tap
    play
    to listen to your recording. You can also tap, hold, and drag any part of the recording to play it from that timestamp
  6. Tap
    delete voice message
    to delete the voice message, tap
    microphone
    to continue recording, or tap send
    send
    to send it.
